Week 4 Practices

Hello Cielitos!

I hope you all have been enjoying the range of culture shows this semester so far! We are excited to really polish our dances for the Latinx Culture show and are in the process of finalizing our practice days for each dance based on who will be performing; please fill out this spreadsheet by EOD Friday, March 8 if you would like to perform for LCS with us! That spreadsheet also includes sign-ups for La Duena del Swing, a merengue we've been working on for a bit, that we anticipate performing for Slater's International Women's Day celebration. Below is the spam for our LCS performance sign-ups and our practice times. If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know!

Wednesday 03/06

Time: 9:00 pm - 10:45 pm
Dance(s): Rule Sonda for the first hour, El Sombrero Azul for the last 45 minutes
If possible, please bring folklorico shoes for Rule Sonda, and a practice skirt for both if you have them!

Thursday 03/07

Location: KSC 222
Time: 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Dance(s): La Duena del Swing

Friday 02/16

Location: KSC 202
Time: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Dance(s): Dame Beso // Muévete for the first hour, La Pollera Colora for the second
If possible, bring a practice skirt for La Pollera Colora!
